Same Word is a word association game for friends. Each player writes a word in secret. Reveal your answers together, then use those words to inspire the next round. Keep going until at least two players submit the same word.

Write independently, then look for a connection between the revealed words. For example, if you write “Beach” and your friend writes “Summer”, you might both think of “Sun” in the next round.

Yes. Choose two or three players when creating a room. Any two identical answers count as a match. If your words differ but mean the same thing, everyone can confirm a meaning match.

Choose 30 or 60 seconds per round when creating a room. The default is 60 seconds. Your choice applies to later rounds and rematches in that room. Submitted answers are final. Words are revealed as soon as everyone submits or time runs out. Unsubmitted drafts are never sent automatically. If you don’t match, use the previous words to try again.
